BlueMed Hackathon “Ideas and solutions for a Healthy Plastic Free Mediterranean Sea”

On April 20 the applications to participate in the BlueMed Hackathon “Ideas and solutions for a Healthy Plastic Free Mediterranean Sea” opened. The hackathon consists of a team challenge with the aim of developing solutions to plastic pollution and promoting sustainable blue growth in the Mediterranean. The hackathon is dedicated to young people aged 18-30, students or graduates in STEM disciplines, designers / creatives and young professionals with no geographical limits.
To participate, candidates (individuals or teams) must complete the online form on https://semed.eu/search?q=bluemed ​​by 10 May 2021. The BlueMed Hackathon will virtually start on 18 May and the winners will be announced during the Final Event of June 2021. The winning teams will have access to a training phase for the development of their project idea in a business plan which will in turn be presented during the Ecomondo fair (October 2021) in a meeting with the investors of the Blue Economy.
