Info/Rac at the Eionet National Focal Points Meeting in Italy

On October 8th and 9th, the European network for environmental information and observation, Eionet, held the meeting of its Focal Points.

At this year’s meeting a “spotlight” was on Italy, highlighting the National Eionet Network, utilization of Copernicus data and the activities of INFO/RAC, the Information and Communication Regional Activity Centre of UNEP/MAP.

INFO/RAC presented its mission and ongoing activities, emphasizing the specific task force established between the EEA and INFO/RAC. This task force was set up in the framewok of the 2022-2030 Joint Work Plan between UNEP/MAP and the EEA, with the objective of regular technical collaboration to deliver, in particular, on JWP work area A: "Use of digital technologies and innovation to improve monitoring and assessment systems."
