The 8th Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge
The Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge 2025 is now open for applications. Created in 2018, the challenge is an international business plan pitching competition for students and recent graduates. Its aim is to raise awareness of threats to our oceans by fostering young people's entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and commitment to conserving our planet.
The Monaco Ocean protection Challenge aims to concretely support the successful creation and development of start-ups and organizations, able to demonstrate a positive impact on the ocean preservation in a short or medium term.
Organized by the International University of Monaco, Institut océanographique de Monaco, Monaco Impact, and the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, the event aligns with ACCOBAMS’ mission to reduce threats to cetaceans.
The initiative contributes to the global outreach and soft power of the Principality of Monaco in Ocean Preservation. It is open to students and entrepreneurs: all undergraduate, graduate and MBA students can join the challenge as well as young professionals who are creating or have created a company after January 2022.
The winners will receive expert advice, mentorship, and networking opportunities to advance their professional projects.
Requirements to participate: Bachelor, Master, PhD or MBA university student or a young entrepreneur and being fluent in English.
