EEA Launches “Environment&Me” Photo Competition
The EEA, the European Environment Agency, has launched the “Environment&Me” photo competition for 2025, aiming to highlight the connection between people and their surrounding environment.
This year’s competition invites citizens to showcase their journeys toward a sustainable future. It celebrates the progress made and reflects on the unprecedented challenges that shape the world we live in.
Whether depicting breathtaking landscapes, reminders of environmental harm, moments of innovative transformation, or everyday acts of environmental care, the photos will help tell the story of our future.
The competition categories this year are based on the following themes and colors:
- BLUE – Water & Me
- GREEN – Nature & Me
- ORANGE – Everyday Life & Me
To participate, submit a maximum of five photos via an online form under one or more categories by 30 May 2025. Close-up pictures, bird’s-eye views, and eye-level shots are all welcome.
The initiative is open to all photography enthusiasts with a keen interest in the environment.
