European Maritime Day
The European Maritime Day 2025 will take place in Cork, Ireland, from 21 to 23 May 2025. Organized by the European Commission, Cork City Council, and the Irish Department of Environment, Climate and Communications, this event will bring together Europe’s maritime community to network, discuss, and outline joint actions on maritime affairs and the sustainable blue economy.
The European Maritime Day is also the place where “Ocean Leaders Meet”: it offers an engaging and interactive experience to stay updated on the current state of the blue economy and the marine environment, and to discuss ways to move forward.
It will feature speakers, thematic sessions, stakeholder workshops, exhibitions, and plenty of networking opportunities. The event targets professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs, and academia, as well as EU citizens interested in the sea.
The EMD will also host the third annual event organized by the Blue Forum: the Fisheries and Ocean Dialogue.
Registration deadline: 10 May 2025
Call for exhibition deadline: 26 March 2025
