First International Ocean Decade Coastal Cities Conference
The First International Conference of Coastal Cities of the Decade of the Ocean will be held in Qingdao, China, in February 2025. The event will be hosted by the Qingdao Municipal People's Government in collaboration with UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC-UNESCO).
Following the momentum and results of the Decade of the Ocean 2024 conference, this event will mark a decisive moment for the recently launched “Cities with the Ocean” platform and will be a major step towards the UN Oceans 2025 conference as well as the special pre-conference event on “Ocean Rise and Resilience”.
