INFO/RAC at FOSS4G (Free and Open Source Software for Geomatics), in Florence

From 22 to 26 of August 2022 the international annual meeting of the Free and Open Source Software took place in Florence (Palazzo dei Congressi, https://2022.foss4g.org/). The meeting provided a unique opportunity for all the GIS workers and experts to inform and discuss about the latest technologies for spatial data management. Many experts in different fields of geomatics (space, earth observation, collaborative mapping, humanitarian, etc.) gave inspiring workshops and talks and many up-to-date information were given from principal developers and founders of international organizations such as OGC, OSGeo, EC, ESA, ISPRS, UN Open GIS (https://2022.foss4g.org/keynotes.php). INFO/RAC staff, as part of the general track schedule, had the opportunity to manage a session about latest technological advancements of Geoserver, Geonode and Mapstore softwares. Interesting perspectives for future collaborations were opened during the event.
